BIG VINCE AND THE PHAT CATS are a 4-piece band from Jupiter, Florida. The band plays and eclectic mix of songs that include Rock, Dance, Motown, R&B, and Blues.
BIG VINCE AND THE PHAT CATS are a group of seasoned musicians who are both entertaining and engaging. The band consists of Vince Flora, lead vocals/harmonica; Mike Paparo, bass; Brad Schechter, drums; and Gary Frost, lead guitar/vocals. Since forming in 2007 they have been playing to enthusiastic crowds at clubs, restaurants, tiki bars, and festivals throughout Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties. They have also had the opportunity to share stages and be the opening act for many artists at numerous South Florida venues, including: Grand Funk Railroad, Three Dog Night, and Joan Jett at The Seabreeze Amphitheater in Jupiter; The Knack at the Meyer Amphitheater in West Palm Beach; The Doobie Brothers at the Keystock Music Festival in Key West; Clarence Clemons and Tommy Tutone. The band can be seen regularly on the fourth Saturday of each month at Double Roads in Jupiter, a venue owned by lead singer Vince Flora.
Whether it be on a festival stage or a small intimate club BIG VINCE AND THE PHAT CATS consistently deliver a quality, high energy stage performance. Their professional attitude and equipment enables them to provide some of the best entertainment in the area, and their growing following is a reflection of that commitment to entertain. They are scheduling now for bookings in advance and look forward to a busy season.
